• Journal entries: Voice recordings and text entries you create
• Quiz responses: Your answers to the onboarding quiz
• Payment info: Processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number
• Usage data: Basic analytics (pages visited, session duration) to improve the product

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalize the GBEcho service
• To generate your reflections and clarity summaries
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send you onboarding and service-related emails
• To improve the product based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

3. What We Never Do

• ❌ We never use your entries to train external models
• ❌ We never listen to your voice recordings — only you can access them

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Voice recordings are encrypted and accessible only through your authenticated account. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Export your journal entries
• Opt out of marketing emails (service emails excluded)

These rights apply regardless of where you live, including under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and other applicable privacy laws.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — for authentication and keeping you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Children

GBEcho is designed for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
